What began as a trip to Hawaii—just a newly divorced dad trying to create lasting memories with his kids—turned into something far greater. That first trip was about reconnecting, making up for lost time, and finding joy in new adventures together. It sparked a tradition: a few trips each year, just us, exploring the world, one destination at a time.
Over the past 10 years, we’ve traveled all over the world, creating memories that have strengthened our bond in ways we never imagined.
Today, our travel crew has grown. My kids are now adults, and our adventures include my wife, my daughter’s husband, and my son’s soon-to-be wife. While the trips look a little different now, the heart of it remains the same: family, connection, and the joy of exploring new places together.

Family looks a little different now than it did when we first started traveling. The kids are older, and life has evolved in the best possible ways. I got remarried to Sandie, my daughter Lauren is now married to Kenny, and my son Mitchell is engaged to Haley. That means our trips aren’t always about everyone packing into one hotel room anymore. Sometimes we travel together, sometimes apart.
